The Purpose of Heart Tears

Tears wash. Jesus washes the church with His words. He washes us individually through His presence in our hearts.

Ephesians 5:²⁵...Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her ²⁶to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, ²⁷and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.

Christ purposes that you are going to be radiant, perfectly reflecting the glory of His heart and spirit, without stain or wrinkle or any blemish and holy and blameless.

No guilt, no shame, no stain. Therefore let the heart tears flow, washing and restoring and cleansing.
